Kim McCrum has been creating jewelry for over 35 years. Her jewelry features hand cut and pierced sterling with exotic wood and semi-precious stones which enhance her unique designs. Kim’s education in jewelry started as a young girl in up-state New York where she would string buttons and beads. As she grew so did her desire to expand those simple ideas into a more sophisticated look. The development of design and use of precious metals started as a casual way to create components not readily found to echo her own designs. From the first day in that metalsmithing studio located on the shores of the mighty Hudson River, her journey began and has expanded into the collections she shows today. Kim relocated to Hendersonville North Carolina from New Mexico where she called home in Santa Fe and Pecos for several years. She continues to exhibit her own interpretive voice of those influences of the beautiful southwest in her beautiful designs.
