Jammey Huggins

Born and raised in West Texas, Jammey Huggins has devoted herself to portraying the culture and history of the Southwest. She began sculpting in 1982 and works in bronze and well as other media. Jammey has a degree in art from Texas Tech University and was featured in the July/August 2002 edition of the Texas Techsan Magazine. Her artwork has been exhibited in prominent museums as well as in both invitational and juried shows. Some of these are the Loveland Sculpture Invitational,

Jammey's work can also be found in both private and corporate collections throughout the U.S. She has received numerous awards for her work, including the Arrowhead Award, Plainsman Award, Golden Spur Award and Best of Show at the Annual American Plains Artist Show; Best of Show at the 2002 Roswell Fine Arts League National Show; Best of Miniature Sculpture at the New Mexico Miniature Arts Society National Show; Collectors Choice Award at the Junior Service League Show, Lawton, Oklahoma and Collectors Choice Award at the National Miniature Show, LaLuz, New Mexico.
